Radi-Wolf

I seriously keep just dropping off the face of the planet. But this year's been pretty crazy since June, and I'm horrible at time management so those just don't go together at all. And I honestly don't know if anyone reads these or if you guys really care but hey, here's little bits of my life, enjoy the craziness. I'm also extremely hyper right now so enjoy that too.

So to summarize my year since I last posted...

• My laptop has been an on and off again royal pain in the backside.
  
• I got a part-time job, I work in a nursery watching and taking care of little ones.
  
• I made a new friend at said work, said friend is now getting ready to have a baby ().
  
• One of my cousins got married and had a baby girl ().
  
• I've been part-time doodling, mostly at work and in crayons, I tried doing a couple October art challenges, I completely failed both but I got some good doodles out of it and I plan to use some of the ideas still.
  
• I had a toothache for a week in the middle of October which ended up resulting in me having to get my wisdom teeth removed (Which. In case you don't know. Sucks. A lot.), so I was out of it for the first two and a half weeks in November.
  
• Then we did an early birthday surprise for my brother, which ended up being on thanksgiving (Stress. Lots of stress.)
  
• I attempted to participate in NaNoWriMo, and I got quite a bit of writing done, so I'm very proud of myself.
  
• Now Everything is just Christmas. Lots and lots and lots of Christmas. I'm making handmade Christmas cards so that's being... time consuming.
  
• I've also gotten much, much, much better at being social so I hope that continues over onto here. Here's to hoping.
  

Also I kept on and off forgetting that DeviantArt even existed so, sorry about that. On the bright side, I've got like a crap-ton of art that I've drawn. Most is traditional, there's a cross-stitch I worked on that I may or may not post, and there's some digital. Some of the digital is probably going to be WIP's that I've been meaning to finish but I've finally just said "Screw it. We'll post these for right now and get back to it eventually." Or they're just flat spur-of-the-moment I-wanted-to-draw-this sketches. So I'm going to get those uploaded because, hey, why not?

I'll probably not go through all of my DA Messages this time, there's like 4,000 again, and I honestly don't have the attention span, sorry, but I will try my best, like I will obviously go through some of it, and if I don't respond to a comment you left like months ago, thank you for favoring one of my drawings or watching me, please don't be hurt or offended or anything, I am very thankful I just, again, don't have the attention span to write out several thank yous. Maybe when I get back on top of things.



TL;DR: My year's been crazy and stressful but I have a lot of art I'll be dumping on you all soon. Probably spread out over the next couple of weeks so that there's not a huge mess of drawings all at once, because there's around 40-something (Don't quote me on that number)

Thank you so much for any and all favorites that have accumulated while I've been gone, you guys rock. Anyone who's started to watch me, you're awesome and welcome to the madness. 

I have an and/or some holiday themed drawing(s) that may or may not get done before Christmas, we'll see, so hopefully that'll happen, because I'm excited for this one, it's going to be pretty awesome, (if I say so myself).

Yeah I'm too tired to think of a clever title. So... Forget that.

ANYWAY. I finally have a working laptop. and it's so stinking nice I am so so so so happy. I just need to transfer all my files and see about getting my programs onto it and then I'll be back into business for sure. I'm so stinking happy.

But, basically, I'm back. and will for sure work on getting caught up on stuff and adding doodles I've been working on and stuffs.

Yeah I just put the first thing that came to mind for the title.

Anyway, my laptop is, yet again, really messed up so I can't upload or really work on anything. (But this time it wasn't my fault!!)

I'm still working on some stuff,  it just will be a while before I can upload. Sorry about that.

1. WHAT DOES YOUR DEVIANTART NAME MEAN AND WHY?
Well currently, Radi-Wolf is just a shortened version of my original "Radiant-Wolf-Girl". I can't really explain why I chose that to be my name, I guess it was kind of my thing at the time, I used it for a lot of stuff. I've always liked wolves and I am a girl, so...
Although I don't know why I chose Radiant, to be quite honest. Maybe because I have a huge obsession with Kingdom Hearts and my favorite world is "Radiant Gardens"? Maybe because I liked what the word meant? Probably a mixture of both...

2. WHAT FANDOM WERE YOU OBSESSED WITH WHEN YOU JOINED AND WHAT ARE YOU INTO NOW?
Kingdom Hearts. Hands down. As for what I'm obsessed with now? Well... Pretty much the same, except now you can throw in probably a whole lot more. But I guess my current biggest obsession, that isn't Kingdom Hearts, would have to be... Darn it. I don't know. Maybe a toss-up between Gravity Falls and Marvel (Y'know, just, anything Marvel.)

But still, Kingdom Hearts is pretty big in my life. Rather I'm consciously obsessing over it or not. It's helped me a lot. It's been a great place to escape to and just get out of my head. Gets the creative juices flowing too. And beating the crap out of creatures of darkness? I'm up for that stuff any day of the week. _{Especially as someone who has a huge fear of the dark.}

3. HOW MANY WATCHERS DO YOU HAVERY NOW?
 Hmmm... I dunno, to take a guess, I'd say maybe 20-25? (now I'll actually go and check)

4. NAME 3 OF YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS ON DA.
Okay, I watch like 200+ people. Picking only three? That'll be hard, but let's see...
So, after about fifteen minutes of browsing through who I watch, I've decided to pick five instead of three (since five's my favorite number anyway. So. Deal with it.)
Alright, so, in no particular order we have;
Because she's amazing, and inspires me a lot, and sometimes a piece of her art floats into my inbox and just brightens an otherwise horrible day.
I haven't really been watching him long, but he's amazing. I can't even properly describe it. His use of medium, how he colors. Just. Beautiful.
Again, coloring, proportions, backgrounds. Use of medium too. I don't think there's a single piece of art from their gallery that I don't love.
Her story telling, her art, her style, (again) coloring, proportions. All of it. 

To be fair, I purposely avoided anyone in my friends list because then I couldn't have stuck to the 3 (well 5) limit.
But as a bonus (but in no particular order)(and without explanations because I kinda want to finish this list today);







Just, basically everyone in my friends box. All of them. They're all amazing and awesome and just all around good at the art thing.

Occasionally, it kind of just depends on the contest and what all I have on my plate when it's running.

Uuuh.... Once Upon a Time, Gravity Falls, RWBY? (although I guess people consider that Anime?)

Let's see.... hands, feet, proportions, male characters, backgrounds, animals, objects. You know. Just, pretty much everything.

10. SUMMER OR WINTER?
Summer. Call me crazy, especially being a Florida girl where it's horribly humid. But I like Summer, Winters here are pretty brutal if you ask me. The chill just goes through you and dances on your bones for at least a good hour.

11. RAIN OR SUN?
RAIN. Rain. Rain.

12. WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE TYPE OF MUSIC?
Depends on my mood? Mostly Country (for some reason it's the easiest to work too), Pop, occasional rock depending on who it is. And Disney. Always Disney.

PC. I've never worked on a Mac

14. ANIME OR MANGA?
It depends, I'm a huge fan of both. (although, I'll admit to liking the dubs more, since I'm a slow reader and the subtitles are super quick on some)

As I currently have a Pepsi bottle sitting next to me. I shall say Pepsi. (I don't wike coke.)

16. READ OR TV?
Again, it depends. I'm a huge book nerd, so I'll read in a heartbeat, but I do occasionally have trouble with it. And sometimes sitting down and watching a show is very relaxing. 

17. HOW MANY HOURS A DAY DO YOU SPEND ON DA?
Um... A lot I guess? I'm always logged in and have a tab open whenever I'm on my computer. So I check up on it every few hours.

Uuummm.... I can eat a crapload of food for being a short and skinny girl?

At risk of sounding stupid, I don't really know the difference? So. I guess I'll just say both?

When I went to school I skipped a day or two because I didn't feel good.

Yeah quite a few times. Haven't been for a few years though.

Yes! When I really young, loved it, even though I sucked. But then they renovated the building and took out the ice rink and I've never been able to go ice skating again.

Um... I don't know, it changed a lot. One time I wanted to be a Ballerina, a singer, a guitarist, a professional artist, an ice skater, an gymnast. It changed a lot.

I still don't really know. Maybe either a Singer (if I didn't have stage fright) or a professional Artist, or comic writer/artist, an Author.... Seriously, I don't know for sure.
